Well, after waiting patiently for over an hour this morning, we learned that Sarah now weighs 16.2 lbs and is 27 inches long! Yeah - she IS growing!! She is still in the 10th percentile, but at least she has consistently been in the 10th percentile!
He said not to worry about her wanting her bottle less and less...it will make my job of weaning her much easier, but no whole milk till 12 months old. He said to give her a sippy cup as much as she'll take one, instead of a bottle. He also said she can pretty much eat whatever we eat at this point, so "have fun!"
Regarding the sleep(less) issues, he didn't have much advice. He told us few things to try that have worked for other people, but she just might be one of those babies that doesn't need as much sleep as the rest of them. He said "Albert Einstein only slept 2 hours a day, so maybe Sarah will grow up to invent something wonderful!" Great...........
But overall, a clean bill of health (and her second round of the flu shot!). We go back in April for her year check-up and a round of shots. Lotsa fun!
